Philadelphia Family Photographer/Morris Arboretum
Nothing beats visiting the Morris Arboretum during the Fall season! There are so many beautiful scenic backdrops to photograph. It’s also a great family oriented location, allowing kids to run around, explore, and just being kids!
So many activities to do after your session, or even before to burn off some energy. 1. Check out the Tree Adventure. Get a bird’s eye view of the forest from 50 feet up, perched on a canopy walk high above ground level. Or scamper down onto the Squirrel Scramble, a huge hammock-like net where you can look down to the ground far below through the rope netting. 2. Out on a Limb, enter a Bird’s Nest and sit on giant robin’s eggs, just waiting to hatch. It’s all part of Morris Arboretum’s Tree Adventure exhibit, connecting us to the natural world, and themed to teach us that we need trees and trees need us. Not to mention the amazing Garden Railway, just to name a few.
Oh how I adore this family. Meet the R Family. I’ve photographed them throughout the years, and I always enjoying exploring new places to capture some family memories. Their kids Aiden, age five, and Logan, age two, are so completely different at this stage. Aiden used to be so shy, but he is breaking out of his shell, and stepping up to be the best big brother to his baby sister. Logan is a fashionista, and definitely has some sass to her! Girlfriend has outfits that look right out of a catalog! I was so happy that Dan and Maureen were able to get some updated pictures together as a couple.
