OCNJ family beach photos are a favorite location to capture family portraits. Ocean City has one best beaches in New Jersey. It’s best know for the boardwalk, and sun and surf in Ocean City. Often labeled,  America’s Greatest Family Resort, with a ferris wheel as a backdrop always makes for some fun family photos. The extreme north and south end of the eight miles of beach are photographer favorite gems. Everyone loves the natural setting that the beach allows for photos.  

Ocean City‘s North end is one of my favorite photo session spots. I did however, get a request to do one of these session on the South end. I had never been to that side of the island before. It was fun to explore what it had to offer. The dunes have gorgeous dune grass with fencing, the pathways are scenic for group shots, and the lighting of the setting sun provides gorgeous highlights on faces and hair. And the ocean waves provide the perfect backdrop and entertainment for the kids. It’s hard trying to keep them from going in before the session is over.

These family sessions did not disappoint in bringing the smiles and the silliness.. Besides being amazingly beautiful families, they came dressed to impress. I love when families coordinate outfits without looking too uniform. Some little girl loves to put a flowy dress on, and boys in a polo–you can never go wrong!
