BE YOU!
Be you, but kick it up a notch… go shopping and buy something new. That always makes me feel great! You don’t have to buy the entire family new outfits. Feel free to use pieces you already have on hand and pick up a few new items to tie everyones outfits together.
LADIES…PICK YOUR OUTFIT FIRST
Let’s face it… We are the pickiest and most critical…if we can find that outfit that we LOVE and feel beautiful in…then picking everyone else’s outfits is a piece of cake.
PICK COLORS THAT COORDINATE
I’m a big fan of mustard and navy for Fall. Navy is the perfect color for guys to wear when you don’t have a mustard option for them.
Don’t wait until the last minute to start shopping. Have your children try things on and let them run around in the outfit to make sure it fits well.
And don’t forget to match shoes/socks and that shoes fit well.
Planning ahead takes the stress of off you. Finally, put your outfits together and make sure it flows well together.
LAYER…LAYER…LAYER
Layers are a great idea not only for unpredictable weather, but to add texture and depth to outfits!! Be flexible and willing to make last minute changes if needed.
DON’T MATCH—-COORDINATE
If you don’t walk around wearing matching outfits during your daily life, I wouldn’t recommend doing that in a photo shoot! Complimentary colors, such as mustard and navy, or grey and purple/burgundy, are my favorite color schemes to tell families about. They really pop with fall foliage!
